The building is old-growth hardwood on stilts, rebuilt in 2019, with a wraparound deck that catches the trade wind all afternoon. Six bedrooms, all of them with their own bathroom, and a kitchen big enough that cooking together is the point rather than a chore.
What the price covers
- All meals, cooked on site
- Airport transfers on the first and last day

Getting there
Fly into Belize City (BZE). A 45-minute hop on Tropic Air or Maya Island Air lands you at Placencia, and the house is nine minutes from that airstrip. We meet every arriving flight on the first day.
The road transfer is four hours and we do not recommend it.
US and EU passport holders do not need a visa for a stay this short. Bring reef-safe sunscreen; the regular kind is not sold here on purpose.
