Saint Martin

Terres Basses is a low isthmus on the French side, reached by a single road between two lagoons. The villa is set into the slope above it, with a long pool on the terrace and both Baie Rouge and Plum Bay inside a fifteen-minute walk. Seven bedrooms across two levels, an outdoor kitchen that gets used more than the indoor one, and enough separation between rooms that a group of strangers stops feeling like a group of strangers. Of the three houses this is the one with something to do off the property: Grand Case is twenty minutes away and has more good cooking per street than anywhere else in the Caribbean. Several of our weeks here are built around that.
